After a long tradition in the production of cavas, the passion for wines of Joan Carol led him in 1996 to found Cellars Carol Vallès. He decided to settle in the old farmhouse of Can Parellada, acquired by his grandfathers more than 100 years ago. With the indispensable help of his wife, Teresa Vallès, Joan Carol begins to market the cavas that the family had been producing for years. The "Parellada i Faura", bearing the surnames of Joan's mother; and then "Guillem Carol", who bear the name of his son. Past and future. Tradition and innovation.
The strong commitment to the traditional method, the unique blends and long agings made the cellars of the farm to reach several recognitions and collect prestigious prizes.
Now, the second generation has taken the rudder of the wineries. The same restlessness, passion and values that the project was born are strongly keep: a firm commitment to the environment, the long aging of the cava and a commitment to sustainability.

Original and brave are the two adjectives that describe the project that enologist Sandra Bravo started in the Rioja. Although born in Logroño, she doesn't come from a family of wine makers, like is quite usual among people dedicated to this business. She was so fascinated by this profession that started to learn travelling aroung the world, after the studies in enology. She has experiences in Bordeaux, Chianti, New Zealand, California and Priorat. The first vintage of her project is 2021

A true passion for wine was what created this winery, and the same passion grew stronger through the years. The project started in the '70ies, when Enrique Mendoza developed a deep interest for enology until he decided to continue the tradition of Marina Baixa to produce wine for family use. All the vineyards are property of the family, water control, the best techniques of winemaking and the best grapes: these are the basics to obtain "the best wine", as Enrique says. We only produce grapes in a natural way, without herbicides or pesticides, only nurtured with compost.

A passionate story of which we are participants today, teaming up my spouse Pepa Agulló Llorca and the children.

VINYES DEL TERRER "SOMM SELECTION"
This vineyard from Vinyes del Terrer is part of a 7 ha family owned Wine-Estate located close to Tarragona and at only 2 km away from the sea and surrounded by olive groves, orange groves and carob trees. Constant breezes give freshness and optimal maturity to the grapes. Calcareous clay called Lumaquela where abundant incrustations of marine fossils are to be found, ideal for the healthy growth of
the innermost parts of the vine. Garnacha tinta 85% and Cabernet Sauvignon 15%. Pure Mediterranean wine notes of red and black fruit over a mineral background marked by salinity. Aged for 14 months in old French oak, this wine will age gracefully showing its potential in the next 15 years.

Around 1850 Pedro Candela Soriano started to produce and sell small amounts of wine locally. In 1925 Antonio Candela García endowed a small winery. Subsequently the winery was managed by Antonio Candela Poveda, who made it grow and develop throughout the years. Nowadays, his two sons, Antonio and Alfredo, take the helm and manage the wineries and the family estates. From a small and local business to a modern winery which produces quality wines highly appreciated in the international markets, the knowledge and traditions have been handed down through these four generations. The Candela Family has spent a lifetime working with wine and Barahonda is the visible result of this passion.

La Niña de Cuenca
Founded in 2016 by the López Orozco brothers, Lorenzo and Valentín, in Ledaña, a town located in the province of Cuenca, employing the vineyards owned by the family for over a hundred years. We harvest the best grapes to create artisan wines, produced in limited quantities, fermented and aged in earthenware jars. Our philosophy aims to recover old vines, guaranteeing an environmentally friendly cultivation in order to return to the roots of more traditional elaborations while exalting the authenticity of the local grape varieties.
Since its foundation, the winery has been conferred the Denominación de Origen Manchuela.

We are committed to crafting uniquely distinctive wines that will eloquently express their terroir and will convey our own spirit and personality, thanks to our painstaking attention to every individual detail, our striving for uncompromising quality, our meticulous management of the vineyards, and our patient work in the cellar. The estate covers an overall area of 300 hectares, of which the vineyards, planted to red grapes beginning at an elevation of 150 metres, amount to 30 hectares. Merlot is planted in pebble-rich soils that were once the bed of a tributary of the Adige, while Cabernet Sauvignon and the old vineyards of Carmenère are in predominantly sandy soils. In 2015, San Leonardo launched a project of conversion to organic viticulture, which concluded successfully in late 2018 with the award of official certification

The twenty and more years passed since the creation of Baglio di Pianetto express themselves in the harvests and in the art of wine-making, attesting a productive maturity reached, first of all, in the vineyard, the starting point of a wine production of the highest quality that strikes the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. A facet of Sicily that is modern but ancient at the same time, recounted with French elegance, a journey of discovery, passion and nature.

DOMAINE LE GRAND CASTELET
It's in the south of France, in the Alpilles, at the gates of the Mediterranean Sea, that we're keeping up the wine-growing tradition in Le Grand Castelet domain.
Our Alpilles PGI designation is very recent. It's been acknowledged for just about 7 years and is cultivated on 1075 acres only. It comprises a few classic domains names and some that are still unknown - but with a bright future just like ours. The unsegmented 494-acre domain stretches along the Rhône river, with vines, woods, and crops, succeeding one another. At the end of a long path, bordered by a hundred centenary plane trees, the beautiful Provençal abode encompasses large farm buildings, where we turn our grapes into wine, sheltered from the blazing sun. On the white stone stands out the sundial that has been setting the tempo since 1740.
